Just had to do it. The skatepark on the North Shore is too good to pass up. I really wanted to bring my setup over with me from home but was afraid of the bag weight limit. Set this baby up today at a total cost of $130. Bought these shoes the other day from the vans factory for $20 making it a total of $150 U.S. Now, so amped to go for a skate.

Adam and i had a little bet the other night. He claimed that he could eat a whole Pepperoni pizza from the shady pizza van that is called impossibles pizza. Just so you know, these pizzas are 18 inches in diameter and consist of 8 slices. Their so big they have to tape the box shut. He went at it with great confidence but 3 slices in he was at struggle town. He didnt even reach half, luckily Alex In-Hale-sly was there to eat the scraps. Its obviously called Impossibles pizza because unless your a horse, your not going to finish it in one sitting.

Arrived in Oahu today after 22 hours of transit. Already been a great first day. Got fun waves at Off The Wall as soon as we arrived this morning, Halsey snapped one of his brand new customs after about an hours surf. Is one seedy piss drinking mo fo that can really skate. Met him at the pool the other day and he was shredding as always. Wish we could have stayed longer but his driving curfew is 6.30 pm. Dont drink and drive kids!

This photo may not do it justice, but the tiles above the stairs are no wider than his trucks. Just an idea of how hard and how fast he was going for this trick.

Last weekend Jase and Pence came up from down the coast because the 2nd round of the SIC was possibly going to be held. With the conditions under par for the Island, we took advantage of wot a wonderful day it was and ran down to the point for a power sesh. I headed out on Archies blue fish and pretty much had perfect 2ft point break waves to myself. I mean ive been out there and its been a million times worse with a million guys out. Sunday was the 09 Shark Island trials. A nice turnout of young up and comers and also a few of the old Nulla locals showed thier faces, some even to compete. A very hungover/ still drunk Nathan Purcell checked in 20 mins prior to surfing in his heat. Proceeded to change into his wetsuit only he put it on back to front. He then skulled a beer and was on his way for what we were all hoping to see, a bloody stirling performance full of Gorfs and mass cutties.

Today was such a rad day. It started with a call from C.V.D. wondering if i was keen to go skating with him and Brendon. We headed off to Gosnells with a quick stop at the Thornlie park. With them both empty we were free to do whatever. It was all fine until i snapped by deck. Devo. From there just headed into EBB for a chat. Halsey and I must have sucked down at least 15 Chupa Chops between us. A bit later on I took the Shrug to Wangara. He's looking for a cheap car at the moment so we went geezing at all the car yards. We came across one that caught my eye from the extremely showcased Meteor on the front verge. He went to check it out when Noticed a Nimbus that they also had for sale. They had a close look and even took it for a test drive. At this point i thought were were going to have a nice convoy home and be + a Nimbus. Was a little out of the price range which sucks. This car would suit Shrugz perfectly. I then got home in time to head down to the local poker tournament, which was really fun. Last time I was there i placed second. Tonight I went one better and came first.

Pretty stoked with the win. Angry because this sticker would suit the back window of a Nimbus like white on rice.

Sorry for the lack of posts lately, its been quite an adventurous week. Earlier in the week, went on a pretty unproductive drive to the bottom of W.a. with a couple close pals. We thought we would get a good day of waves before having to head home, but that dream quickly vanished. After driving approximately 7 hours we proceeded to get bogged whilst checking a new potentially pumping spot. After 2 hours of digging, frustration and no help we finally got the car out of a mean bog and passed up perfect 6-8 ft wedges for a 3 ft barely peaking beachie,(which we surfed for about 30 minutes) then drove a following 6 hours home. Unfortunately I Don' t have any photos of the bad times but i did snap this on my mobile phone.

An amazing sunrise over the bay in Albany. Almost worth the drive if only we knew what was ahead of us.

I will try to keep the posts as updated a possible.
